Ну вот Пирогов в бытность свою студентом наблюдал ОДНУ операцию, и она была как раз полостной: извлечение камня из мочевого пузыря у ребенка.
То есть, делали. И сам Пирогов в Дерпте делал в полный рост. Со всем молодым удальством.
