По ходу, не судьбец мне поиграть в Масс Эффект

Лицензионка не становится - кантюпер тупо не видит диска, искренне считает, что дисковод пуст. Закачанная с торрентов версия сначала казала дулю, не желая запускать файл MassEffectConfig.exe, а потом, после установки патча, начала требовать диск. Которого, сцуконах, кантюпер не видит.

Бяда, огорчение...

И "Ведьмак", шосукахарактерно, тоже не встал.

Они же вроде через Стим ставятся. Правда, деньги надо платить

У меня так со второй игрой было. На форуме BioWare ребята предложили рабочее решение:

1. Download and install Daemon Tools

2. Go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com, search under PC on the right side select the alphabetical menu 'F-M' , scroll down the list of games till you find Mass Effect 2 under M and click it to open.

3. You will find a list of cracks or images, select Mass Effect 2 [MULTI5] No-DVD/Fixed Image. Download it by clicking on the adjacent 'floppy disk' icon.

4. Once downloaded you will need an unzipping program like WinRar (The most commonly used one) to uncompress the file. Take out the two files and you can either place them in your Mass Effect 2 main folder or on your desktop, it doesn't matter really.

4. Providing you're familiar with the use of Daemon Tools you will want to mount that image. (To mount the image, first run the program - it will be displayed on your windows toolbar, lower right - left click on Daemon tool icon select the said device then navigate to where you placed your uncompressed file)

5. Done! it should work fine, now you may receive an error message upon loading them mounted image, but just click ok and ignore it, now when you launch the Mass Effect 2 launcher and click play, it should work!

Короче - качаешь Daemon Tools, качаешь пропатченный образ диска (там есть и ME, и ME2), кладёшь означенный образ в Daemon Tools - готово, компьютер больше диска не требует.

В 1С версии первой МЕ MassEffectConfig глючил, нужно было игру запускать не через него, а вручную прямо экзешник запускать.

Не волнуйся все играется и ломанное и покупное, но 3й эффект покупать точно не стоит :)
у мя лично ведьмака два тянутых, из массэффектов минимум два тянутых.
